Equatorial Guinea, 3C0. Yuris, YL2GM and Eugene, EA5EL plan to be active as 3C0W from Annobon Island (AF-039) for two weeks in September. Actual dates will depend on the ferry schedule. While waiting for the ferry, they will be active as 3C3W from Bioko Island (AF-010), Equatorial Guinea. They will operate CW, SSB and digital on 160 to 6 metres. Malaysia, 9M. Celebrating National Day (31 August) and Malaysia Day (16 September), several special event stations located in various Malaysian states and federal territories are expected to be activated between 15 August and 30 September. Active from West Malaysia will be 9M25MA, 9M25MB, 9M25MC, 9M25MD, 9M25MJ, 9M25MK, 9M25MM, 9M25MN, 9M25MP, 9M25MR, 9M25MT, and 9M25MW. Active from East Malaysia will be 9M25MS (Sabah) and 9M25MQ (Sarawak). QSL via operators’ instructions.

West Malaysia, 9M2. Team 9M4LHU will participate in the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend from the lighthouse on Undan Island (AS-097), West Malaysia. QSL direct to 9M2HUS

Turkey, TA. TC88YL is the special call sign for the TA-YL Event that will take place from the TC2E contest station on 16 and 17 August. Organized by Merzuke, TA7YLY, the event will see six female amateur radio operators actively working SSB, CW, digital and the QO-100 satellite. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW, eQSL and Club Log. Dodecanese, SV5. Darrell, N3JWJ will be active as SV5/N3JWJ from Rhodes Island, Dodecanese (EU-001) between 17 and 25 August. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW, QRZ Logbook and Club Log; QSL cards will not be provided.

Italy, I. IR3LH is the special call sign for the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend (16 and 17 August), operated by IU3EDK and his team from the lighthouse at Porto Piave Vecchia. QSL via the bureau, or direct to IU3EDK.

France, F. For the tenth year in a row, a German team (DJ5KX, DJ8EI, DK5OPA, DL1DCT, DL4MME, DL5KA and DL8KR) will be active as TM0BSM from the lighthouse at Berck-sur-Mer between 14 and 19 August. QSL via LoTW (preferred), or direct to DK5OPA.

Romania, YO. YR1600VT is the special call sign that members of Radio Club YO6KGS will be using until 31 March 2026 to popularize Via Transilvanica, the long-distance trail (1600 km) used for hiking, cycling and horse riding that crosses Romania. Poland, SP. Special event stations SN130LHK, SN150LHC and SN150LRN will be active between 9 and 17 August to celebrate the anniversaries of three Polish lighthouses (Krynica Morska, Czolpino and Rozewie II, respectively). Greenland, OX. Markus, DL6YYM will be active holiday style as OX/DL6YYM from Disko Bay, Greenland during the second half of August. Between 15 and 18 August he will be active from IOTA group NA-134, while between 19 and 29 August he will be located on the main island (NA-018). He operates CW only and is a QRP enthusiast. Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, FP. The Radio Club de Provins (F6KOP) will be active as FP5KE from Ile aux Marins, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (NA-032) between 15-26 September. A team of 16 operators (F1ULQ, F2DX, F4AJQ, F4AZF, F4BKV, F4DLM, F4FET, F4HAU, F5NTZ, F5VHQ, F8AAN, F8EFU, F8GGV/YU3FX, DL3GA, HB9GWJ and ON7RN) will be active on 160-6 metres CW, SSB, RTTY and other digital modes with eight stations; also planned are operations via 2 m EME and the RS-44 and QO-100 satellite, if possible. Guyana, 8R. Aldir, PY1SAD will be active again as 8R1TM from Guyana from 14 August to 23 September. He will operate CW, SSB and digital modes on all bands and via satellite. QSL via LoTW, eQSL, QRZ Logbook, or direct to home call.

Guatemala, TG. Dennis, KT8X will be active as TG4/KT8X from Guatemala between 16 and 23 August. He will operate CW and digital modes on 40-6 metres. QSL via LoTW only.

Easter Island, CE0Y. Cesar, CE7TI will be active as 3G0YT from Easter Island (SA-001) between 12 and 15 August. He will operate QRP, mostly on 20 and 10 metres using SSB and digital.

DXCC Trident Award. The ARRL DXCC Trident award recognizes amateur radio operators who have confirmed two-way radio contacts with 100 or more DXCC Entities on all three modes: CW, Phone, and Digital (RTTY, PSK, etc., FTx). Higher achievement endorsements can be earned at the 200, 300, and Honour Roll levels. All DXCC credits must be visible in Logbook of The World, and

Sardinian Provinces. Saverio Amore, IK2RLS, manager for the WAIP (Worked All Italian Provinces) award, reports that following recent reorganisation, effective 1 June 2025 the administrative divisions of the autonomous region of Sardinia consist of two metropolitan cities and six provinces: Cagliari (CA), Gallura Nord-Est Sardegna (OT), Medio Campidano (VS), Nuoro (NU), Ogliastra (OG), Oristano (OR), Sassari (SS), Sulcis Iglesiente (SU).
