Rodrigues Island, 3B9. Sebastien, 3B8HR will be active holiday style as 3B9HR from Rodrigues Island (AF-017) between 22 and 28 July. He will operate SSB on the HF bands. QSL via LoTW.
South Cook Islands, E5/S. Steve ZL2KE as E51KEE and Steve ZL4CZ as E51CZZ will be active again from Rarotonga (OC-013), South Cook Islands, as follows: 22 July to 14 August – E51KEE CW and some SSB and 26 July to 6 August – E51CZZ SSB. E51KEE is likely to concentrate on 40 and 30 metres, “unless propagation improves”. They will not use other digital modes. QSL for both call signs via IK2DUW (direct); QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log and LoTW.
Willis Island, VK9/W. Sands, VK4WXW has returned to Willis Island (OC-007) and will be
stationed at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology’s weather monitoring facility until late October or early November. After recently returning to the air, he expects to become increasingly active as VK9WX in the coming weeks. He operates SSB and digital on 40, 20, 15
and 10 metres with a vertical antenna, though he plans to add an inverted L for lower-frequency operations soon. QSL via M0OXO’s OQRS.
Tuvalu, T2. Aki, JK1JXZ will be active again as T2JK from Funafuti, Tuvalu (OC-015) from 30 July to 7 August (or 14 August, should his stay be extended). He will be active on 80 to 6 metres, “all day” during the weekend and after 17 (local time) during the weekdays. QSL via LoTW.
Indonesia, YB. Team 7C8C will be active from Gusung Toraja Island (OC-236) between 23 and 26 July. They will operate SSB, CW, RTTY and digital on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres, and will participate in the IOTA Contest. QSL direct to YB8HZ; QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log and QRZ.
Azerbaijan, 4K. Jan, DL4XT will be active holiday style as 4K/DL4XT from Azerbaijan from 23 July to 8 August. He will operate SSB, CW and digital on 20 to 10 metres. QSL via LoTW, Club Log’s OQRS and QRZ.
Russia, UA. Vladimir, UA3FX/1 is currently active from Shalim Island (EU-082) until 21 July. He operates low power SSB, CW and digital modes on 40 to 10 metres. QSL via LoTW.
Russia, UA. The Arctic’s Legends IOTA DXpedition team was active as RI1PC from Chaichiy Island (EU-160) on 13-14 July and made 5800+ QSOs in about 30 hours. The log has been uploaded to Club Log. QSL via M0OXO’s OQRS. Next stop will be Novaya Zemlya (EU-035), where they will be active as RT25AA. Hopefully they will be there sometime around 19 July. Italy, I. Team IP1X (namely IK1QBT, IK1RQT, IK1YDB, IK2QEI, IU1LCU, IZ1LBG) will participate in the IOTA Contest from Gallinara Island (EU-083). They will operate SSB and CW with two stations. QSL via Club Log’s OQRS, or via IU1JCZ (direct or bureau).
Austria, OE. OE2YOTA is the call sign to be used on 25-31 July during the YOTA Summer Camp 2026 to be hosted by the Osterreichische Versuchssenderverband (OVSV) in Wagrain. The event will bring together young radio amateurs from IARU Region 1 member societies as well as guest teams from Regions 2 and 3, creating an opportunity to learn all about different nationalities and cultures, foster international friendships and goodwill, and learn new amateur radio skills.
Trinidad & Tobago, 9Y. Ishmael, 8P6PE will be active as 9Y4/8P6PE from Trinidad & Tobago between 25 July and 9 August. He plans to operate from several POTA references. QSL via LoTW, eQSL and QRZ.
USA, W. Look for K5SL/4 to be active holiday style from Dauphin Island (NA-213) between 25 and 31 July. He will operate CW on 40 to 17 metres during his early mornings and evenings. QSL via home call.
