DXLOOK. Created by Rodrigo O. Vazquez, AK6FP, this tool offers a comprehensive view of real-time signal reception, making amateur radio operations more informed and engaging. In focusing on actual reception data, DXLook aggregates information from multiple sources, including WSPRnet, the Reverse Beacon Network, PSK Reporter, DX Clusters and more, along with solar data overlays for added context. DXLook runs in a web browser with no login required: https://dxlook.com.

Revillagigedo, XF4. On 25 October, Mark (XE1B) will visit Socorro Island (NA-030), Revillagigedo to meet the new base commander and establish conditions for an international team with remote capabilities for the future. Access to the base is limited and is only possible via a Navy battleship departing from Baja, Mexico. The voyage takes 36 hours. The next Navy trip departs on 23 October and returns on 30 October, giving Mark a five-day window to operate.
Mark has visited the island three times before (in 1999, 2011 and 2018) and has obtained a new licence for this trip. The call sign will be announced when he is active. He has also obtained permission from the Navy and the other two regulatory agencies to visit the island and operate. The operation will have a low profile, demonstrating that a DXpedition can be carried out with minimal impact on the island. Mark’s focus will be on making as many ATNO contacts as possible to lower XF4’s rank in demand. He will bring four antennas, two radios and a linear amplifier. He will operate SSB and digital simultaneously, without automated digital QSOs. There are uncertainties regarding Internet access, so contacts will not be streamed. QSLs will be available via Club Log’s OQRS only; QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW as OQRS requests are processed. Any excess proceeds will be donated to the Northern California DX Foundation. The aim of this visit is to pave the way for a larger activation in 2026.
