Mali, TZ. Jeff, K1MMB, will once again be active as TZ4AM from Bamako, Mali, sometime between September and December. Activity will be on 80 to 6 m using CW and SSB. Jeff reported on QRZ.com (during his last trip and probably this trip): “I have now put a new beacon TZ4AM/B on 50 050.5, 50 watts on the air and leave it operating part-time at times when I think there might be openings (but not 24/7 due to power cuts). It transmits at 22 wpm focusing on Regions 2 and 3 but can be heard in EU during openings.” QSL via KX4R.

Rwanda, 9X. Harold, DF2WO will be active again as 9X2AW from Rwanda between 1 and 27 September. Usually he operates CW, SSB and digital on various bands, 6 metres included, and via QO-100. QSL via M0OXO’s OQRS and LoTW.

French Polynesia, FO. David, F1SXC and Herve, F4DPA will be active as TX14TOM from Tai’arapu-Est, Tahiti (OC-046), French Polynesia on 17-31 August. QSL via LoTW; https://log-et-qsl.associations-radioamateurs.org/wp/ for log search and eQSL.

Vanuatu, YJ. Chris, VK2YUS is active again as YJ0CA from Port Vila (OC-035) Vanuatu until 30 August. He operates SSB on 40 – 10 m, typically between 21 UTC and 10 UTC. QSL direct to home call; he does not use LoTW or Club Log.

East Malaysia, 9M6. Members of the Amateur Radio Club Sarawak (ARCS) will be active as 9M8BARF between 1 and 15 September, to promote the 12th Borneo Amateur Radio Festival being held in Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia. QSL via Club Log’s OQRS, or direct to 9M8HAZ.

Greece, SV. Adrian, M1LCR will be active holiday style as SV8/M1LCR/p from Paxos Island (EU-052) between 2 and 13 September. He will be active on 80 to 6 m SSB and RTTY, with main activity during the IARU Region 1 Field Day on 6 and 7 September. He will only use electronic QSLs and possibly LoTW

Italy, I. Look for IJ7/IK7WDS, IJ7/IW7DMH, IJ7/IW7DOL, IJ7/IZ7AUH, and IJ7/IZ7LDC to be active from San Pietro Island (EU-073) between 29 and 31 August. They will be active on the HF bands, on 6 and 2 metres and via QO-100. QSL via operator’s instructions.

Spain, EA. Special call signs EG1SDC to EG9SDC (1 to 7 September), EH1SDC to EH9SDC (8 to 14 September) and EG41SDC (1 to 14 September) will be active to commemorate Day of Asturias and the principality’s patron saint, popularly known as the Santina de Covadonga. This is the 41st edition of the ‘SDC’ special event. Also, active will be CB1SDC from Chile (1 to 14 September). QSL for all call signs via EA1AUM, LoTW and eQSL. 85th Anniversary of the Battle Of Britain.
