Malawi, 7Q. Look for 7Q1A to be active from Lilongwe, Malawi on 18-24 October (CW and digital modes), and during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest with at least two stations. Bangladesh, S2. Team S21SDX will be active from deep inside the Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, between 13 and 15 November. Organized by the Amateur Radio Club Khulna, the event will be led and managed by young operators, including S21ACP, S21CMD, S21AKL, and S21SRK. They will operate SSB and digital on 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metres. QSL via I8KHC; all QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log. Switzerland, HB9. Celebrating the 70th anniversary of their organization, members of the International Police Association’s Swiss branch (HB9IPA) will be active as HB70IPA between 1 November and 31 December. Activity will be on various HF bands and the QO-100 satellite. QSL via LoTW and eQSL, paper cards will not be provided.
France, F. Michel, F8GGZ will be active as TM80UCO on 12 and 19 October for the 80th anniversary of UNESCO, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization that promotes cooperation in education, science, culture and communication. He will operate SSB and CW on 80 to 10 m. QSL via eQSL only.
Belgium, ON. The ONZ Oostkust Radioclub (ON6HC) will be active on all bands and modes as OR81C between 15 October and 14 November to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the liberation of the region of Knokke-Heist by Canadian troops in 1944. The Netherlands, PA. Volker, DL1WH will be active holiday style as PA/DL1WH from Texel Island (EU-038) between 11 and 24 October. He will operate mainly CW, with some SSB. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.
Falkland Islands, VP8. Hackl, DL7HW will be active as VP8THW from the Falkland Islands (SA-002) between 1 and 21 November. Chile, CE. Felipe, XQ7IR – and maybe one or two other operators – will be active as 3G5SM from Isla Santa Maria (SA-070) between 11 and 15 November. The operation will also serve as a trial run of the equipment – including a remote station – to be used during Felipe’s announced DXpedition to San Ambrosio in January 2026. Brazil, PY. PX100IARU is the special call sign issued to the Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Radio Emissao (LABRE) which is hosting the IARU Region 2 General Assembly. Look for activity on “all bands, all modes and satellite” until 12 October. St. Barthelemy, FJ. G3NKC, G4CLA, GW4XUM and M5RIC will be active as FJ/home call from St. Barthelemy (NA-146) before the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. During the contest (25 and 26 October) they will use TO4K (QSL via LoTW; QSOs will be uploaded also to Club Log).
San Andres Island, HK0. Team 5K0UA (HK1T, HJ1YL, K2BB and UU0JR, plus possibly US7UX, VA2WA and WB2AA) will be active from San Andres Island (NA-033) between 15 October and 3 November.
