Saudi Arabia, HZ. HZ96ND, 7Z96ND and 8Z96ND are the special call signs for the Saudi Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate Saudi National Day between 13 and 23 September. Based on the number of lunar years, Saudi National Day commemorates the renaming of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (23 September 1932). National societies from Gulf Cooperation Council’s neighbouring countries which are expected to join the celebrations include the Bahrain Amateur Radio Society as A91ARS (17 to 23 September) and the Kuwait Amateur Radio Society as 9K9KSA (19 to 25 September).

Chile, OA. Active throughout September, the special call sign OC100ISL marks the 100th anniversary since the inauguration of the Peruvian Navy’s base on San Lorenzo Island (SA-052). Amateur radio operations from the island are planned for 25 to 27 September only; at other times the call sign is operated on various bands and modes from mainland Peru.
Curacao, PJ2. Randy, K5SL will be active holiday style as PJ2/K5SL from Curacao (SA-099) between 18 and 26 September. He will operate only CW on 40 to 17 metres. QSL via home call.
