Reunion, FR. Andre, ZS6AJG will be active as FR/ZS6AJG from Reunion Island (AF-016) between 25 and 27 August. He will operate SSB running 20 watts on 20, 15 and possibly 10 metres. QSL via eQSL; he welcomes email requests for bureau cards.

Oman, A4. Special event station A43KD will be active between 26 and 28 August during the first Amateur Radio Forum in the Sultanate of Oman, hosted by the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society in Dhofar Governorate (WWL LK77FA). Look for activity on the HF bands and via QO-100 using SSB, CW and digital modes. Five certificates will be available, see QRZ.com for information.

Franz Josef Land, RI1F. Team RI1FJZ (namely R3CN, R9LR, RA1ZZ, RA9USU, RW6MD and UA6EX) expects to depart from Murmansk on 3 September aboard the sailing yacht “Apostol Andrey”, bound for Alexandra Land (EU-019), Franz Josef Land. The crossing takes approximately five days, depending on weather and sea conditions; follow the ship’s progress at https://share.garmin.com/r9lr. Plans are to be active between 9 and 25 September and to operate CW, SSB and digital (MSHV) with up to seven stations on 160 to 10 metres, plus EME, LEO and QO-100. Poland, SP. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Polish State Railways (Polskie Koleje Panstwowe), special call signs 3Z100PKP, HF100PKP, SN100PKP, SO100PKP, SP100PKP and SQ100PKP will be active between 1 and 30 September. Certificates and eQSL will be available on HamAward (https://hamaward.cloud).

Spain, EA. Special event call signs EG26PDA (1 to 13 September), EG1PDA – EG8PDA (1 to 7 September) and EH1PDA – EH8PDA (8 to 3 September) will be activated to commemorate Day of Asturias and the principality’s patron saint. Also, active will be ED3PDA (19 and 20 September). QSL for all call signs via EA1AUM (direct or bureau), LoTW and eQSL. Portugal, CT9. Miguel, LX1MDA will be active holiday style as CT9/LX1MDA from Madeira (AF-014) from 31 August to 6 September. He will operate SSB and digital on 40 to 10 metres. QSL via LoTW, or via the bureau to his home call.

England, G. James, M0GQC will be active as GB100TL from Tibbetts Lookout on Lundy Island (EU-120) between 28 and 30 August, with most on air activity expected on 29 August. QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log and QRZ; paper cars will not be available.

Iceland, TF. TF80IRA is the special call sign used by the club station of Icelandic Radio Amateurs (IRA) to celebrate the 80th anniversary since the foundation of Iceland’s IARU member society (14 August 1947). Look for activity between 14 August and 31 December. QSL via the bureau, direct and LoTW.

Canada, VE. Mike, VY0ZOO (VE2XB) to arrive in Coral Harbour on Southampton Island (NA-007) on 23 August and to remain there until 22 September. He then plans to go to Naujaat (mainland Canada) between 23 and 28 September and to Igloolik (NA-174) from 29 September to 26 October.

Granada, J3. Graham, MM8IJU and Eric, GM5RDX will be active again as J38LD and J38DX, respectively, from Grenada (NA-024) between 1 and 12 September. They will operate SSB and digital on 80 to 6 metres. QSLs via M0OXO’s OQRS; QSOs will be uploaded daily to LoTW and QRZ.

Brazil, PY. Team PS2L (namely PY2AE, PY2MK and PY2TTN/PR2MB) will be active from Ilha do Mar Virado (SA-028) between 29 and 30 August. They will operate CW, SSB and digital on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres with two stations. QSL via LoTW, or direct to Caixa Postal 79473, Sao Paulo – SP, 03089-970, Brazil.
