Ghana, 9G. Silvano, I2YSB and the Italian DXpedition Team will be active from Abokwa Island (AF-084), Ghana sometime during March/April. Details will be announced in due course.

Guinea-Bissau, J5. Team J51A (namely Bavarian Contest Club’s members Ben DA1DX, Win DK9IP, Andree DL8LAS, Uli DM5EE and Lutz DM6EE) will be active from Bubaque Island (AF-020), Guinea-Bissau sometime in February/March. Antarctica, KC4. Rikk, WE9G plans to be active as WE9G/KC4 from the Palmer Peninsula, Antarctica sometime between 30 January and 3 February, “including one overnight stay”. QSL via Club Log’s OQRS, or via home call.

Antarctica, VK0. – Tom, VK2TBC will be active as VK0TBC from Casey Station, Antarctica between February and December. He will operate SSB and digital in his spare time. Updates will be posted to https://vk2tbc.com/.

Australia, VK. Reminder: under a permanent agreement with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), all Australian radio amateurs may use the alternative AX call sign prefix instead of VK on Australia Day (26 January), ANZAC Day (25 April) and World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (17 May).

Palau, T8. The following operators plan to be active on various bands and modes from Koror (OC-009), Palau between 28 and 31 January: 7K4TKB as T88YL, JA1MEJ as T88MT, JA1MFR as T88KY, JI1JRE as T88MH, JO3LVG as T88MK, JR3QFB as T88JH. QSL via operator’s instructions.

Bangladesh, S2. The Next Generation DX Club will be active as S21WD from IOTA group AS-140, Bangladesh for 12 days in late March. Six operators (DJ4MX, DK6SP, DL3ON, M0SDV, S21ABO and S21TV) will be active on 160 to 10 metres CW, SSB, RTTY and other digital modes with up to five stations. In addition, activity via the QO-100 satellite is planned using CW, SSB and digital. Lakshadweep Islands, VU7. The AU7RS DXpedition to Agatti (AS-011), Lakshadweep Islands is now set to take place between 8 and 14 February. Plans are for five operators (VU2RS, VU24DX, VU29AR, VU3DXA and VU3GDS) to be active on 160 to 6 metres (SSB, CW and digital) and via QO-100. QSL via M0OXO’s OQRS. Russia, RI1F. Members of the Russian DXpedition Team will be active as RI1FJL from Heiss Island (EU-019), Franz Josef Land in September. On 25 August, six operators (R2DVE, R7AL, RA4DX, RW8A, RW9JZ and UA3QLC) will set off from Murmansk; depending on the weather and sea conditions, the voyage will take six to seven days. Plans are to be active on 160 to 10 metres CW, SSB and digital with at least five high-power stations for 15 days. QSL via Club Log’s OQRS. Belize, V3. Walt, W0CP as V31DJ (CW and SSB) and his wife Mary, K0ZV as V31DK (digital) will be active again from Placencia, Belize between 1 and 27 February. Look for them on 160 to 10 metres. St Kitts, V4. Once again John, W5JON will be active as V47JA from St Kitts (NA-104) from 30 January to 3 February. He will operate SSB and digital on various bands. QSL via LoTW, or direct only to W5JON.

Anguilla, VP2E. Rick, W4IO will be active holiday style as VP2EIO from Anguilla (NA-022) between 24 and 31 January. He will operate SSB and digital on 80 to 10 metres. QSL via LoTW, or direct to home call.

Curacao, PJ2. Andre, PD1DRE will be active again as PJ2/PD1DRE from Curacao (SA-099) between 26 January and 4 March. He operates SSB and digital modes. QSL via eQSL.

Brazil, PY. Celebrating the Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Radio Emissao’s 92nd anniversary, 28 special call signs – representing LABRE and the 27 Brazilian federative units (26 states and one federal district) – will be active between 1 and 28 February: ZV1ES (Espirito Santo), ZV1RJ (Rio de Janeiro), ZV2DF (Distrito Federal), ZV2GO (Goias), ZV2LB (LABRE), ZV2SP (Sao Paulo), ZV2TO (Tocantins), ZV3RS (Rio Grande do Sul), ZV4MG (Minas Gerais), ZV5PR (Parana), ZV5SC (Santa Catarina), ZV6BA (Bahia), ZV6SE (Sergipe), ZV7AL (Alagoas), ZV7CE (Ceara), ZV7PB (Paraiba), ZV7PE (Pernambuco), ZV7RN (Rio Grande do Norte), ZV8AC (Acre), ZV8AM (Amazonas), ZV8AP (Amapa), ZV8MA (Maranhao), ZV8PA (Para), ZV8PI (Piaui), ZV8RO (Rondonia), ZV8RR (Roraima), ZV9MS (Mato Grosso do Sul), ZV9MT (Mato Grosso).
