Malawi, 7Q. Chris, ZS6RI has been active as 7Q5C from near Karonga in northern Malawi since 28 October. For the next year or two, he will be working there on a six-week on/off rotation, with planned activity on 40 to 10 metres “99% CW” during his spare time. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW, QRZ Logbook and Club Log; paper QSLs will not be issued.
Sierra Leone, 9L. Plans are for the Mediterraneo DX Team to operate as 9L9L from Banana Island (AF-037) between 2 and 5 November at the very least, with the possibility of continuing until 7 November if circumstances are favourable. Morocco, CN. Members of the Association Royale des Radio Amateurs du Maroc will be active on various bands and modes as CN50MS between 1 and 8 November. In addition, CN amateurs can use the prefix 5C50 (e.g. 5C50AM for CN8AM) during the same time frame. QSL via operator’s instructions. The special call sign and prefix commemorate the 50th anniversary of the so-called Marche Verte (Green March), a mass demonstration in support of the restoration of the Moroccan Sahara and the conclusion of the Spanish colonial rule.
Algeria, 7X. Mohamed, 7X2VFK, reports: To mark the 71st anniversary of the Algerian Revolution, the team will soon be active with the special callsign, 7R1N, on all bands during the month of November 2025.
Benin, TY. Red, DL1BUG will be active again as TY5FR from Cotonou, Benin from 15 November to 11 December, He will operate CW and SSB on 80 to 10 metres, including an entry in the CQ WW DX CW Contest. QSL via DL1BUG (direct or bureau); QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log.
Uganda 5X. Anders, SM0HPL, will once again be active as 5X7W (pending) from Naalya, Kampala (WW Loc. KJ60), Uganda, between 14 November and 8 December as time permits. Activity will be on 80 to 10 m using CW and digital modes, with an Elecraft K2 and QRP Labs QDX/QMX (5 w) into a vertical (Rybakov at the roof top 4th floor), Carolina Windom and 41 m long wire. Central African Republic TL. Darek, TJ1GD, announced that beginning 1 November 2025, I will be active regularly as TL8GD on the HF bands using SSB, CW and digital modes. France, F. To mark the 60th anniversary since the first French satellite, named Asterix, was launched into orbit (26 November 1965), members of the Wingles Radio Club (F4KLR) will be active as TM60ATX on Fridays and Saturdays between 14 November and 13 December and
again on 19 to 23 December. All SSB and CW QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the bureau; digital QSOs will be confirmed via eQSL.
Canada, VE. Mike, VE2XB will be active as VY0ZOO from Iqaluit, Baffin Island (NA-047) on 2-7 November. Look for him on +/- 14032 and 7032 kHz. QSL direct to home call. Next, he will go to Naujat (formerly known as Repulse Bay), a hamlet located exactly on the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Hudson Bay, in mainland Canada (Nunavut).
Guyana, 8R. Aldir, PY1SAD is active again as 8R1TM from Guyana from 29 October to 7 December. He operates CW, SSB and digital modes on 160 to 6 metres, typically between 23 UTC and 2 UTC and longer over the weekends. QSL via LoTW, eQSL, QRZ Logbook, or direct to PY1SAD.
Colombia, HK. 5J4W is the call sign PY8WW’s IOTA DXpedition to Playa Blanca Island (SA-084). He expects to be active at around 20:00 UTC on 12 November, and to operate SSB, CW and digital modes on 80 to 10 metres until 16 or 17 November. QSL via Club Log’s OQRS.
Chile, CE. 3G9S, CB9N, XR9N are the special call signs for a DXpedition to Isla Navarino (SA-050) which is scheduled to take place between 10 and 17 January 2026. 3G9S is the main call sign, operated on site by CE2PM and CE2GT on 40 to 6 metres SSB, CW and digital (possibly also on 160 and 80).
